Distracted

I didn't mean to be away for so long, but I have been distracted...

by Audrey Hepburn, my daughter's new kitten, who likes to be at the centre of all that we do;

knitting and crocheting for rebeccamaryjane's

and making and creating with the children at my after school art and craft clubs.
It's been a busy time.
It has also been a very stressful and emotional time: my husband's brother has cancer and it has shaken us all to the very core. He is battling hard...and we are all trying to carry on as best we can.
Back soon,
Rebecca

  1. Sorry to hear Rebecca, sounds like you are doing what you need to to get along. Being with family, pets, stitching, and keeping busy.

  2. The kitten is just gorgeous. Your flowers are really lovely too.
Really sorry to hear about your brother in law. Just about every family is touched by this awful disease at some time. Lets hope they find a cure real soon. Until then I'm sending you lots of positive vibes.

  3. So sorry to hear about the illness in your family. I know from experience how it can turn your world upside down ... this is a time for family to pull together and be strong. Nothing else matters!

  5. Nice to see you posting Rebecca, been thinking about you. It is about a year since I came to your one day crochet course.
What a lovely kitten, they do distract you don't they!
Hope your brother-in-law responds well to his treatment.

  6. Thinking of you this time of year...I know I already commented on this post but I didn't know where else to reach you. Just wanted you to know I was wondering about you, but I don't want to intrude, just sending "peace" to you this Christmas season.

  7. Rebecca This is a very late comment but I have just begun a blog of my own and am visiting all the bloggers that I follow on Twitter

I am so sorry to read here about your brother-in-law. Something like this can take up all your time, not just in doing but thinking too, I know.

I have just been looking around your site and love all the pretty things - the button centered flowers here in particular

    Hope to read more soon

    xx
